Kiss your $8.00 tax break goodbye; and then some. Republicans and Democrats agree, the new energy and climate bill passed by the house will raise the rates you pay for utilities and gas. It’s a thinly veiled way to raise taxes without using the “T” word.

Michael Jackson’s death saw promoter AEG Live say goodbye to about $500 million in revenue from his planned concerts. I’m sure that the California legislature is sobbing uncontrollably because of the lost “revenue”. While the promoter has claimed to be “well insured” for the losses, who is their carrier? AIG?
