Whose Job is it Anyway California?
This Back on Track program in San Francisco and all the hoopla surrounding it all of a sudden has me thinking “whose job is it anyway” on a number of levels.
Kamala Harris has said that it is not the duty of local law enforcement to enforce federal immigration law. Not my job! Whose job is it anyway?
California jobs are disappearing faster than a fart in the wind, but this program prepared people who have no right to work in the US to take jobs from citizens. Which knuckleheads never saw the potential for this happening when the program was conceived? Whose job is it anyway?
Kamala Harris wants to be Attorney general and make California a sanctuary state. Only if we let her. Whose job is it anyway?
In the real world, the phrase “not my job” goes over about as well as a fart in church. In government it seems to be the standard response. It shows the union mentality of the workers and of the officials who are beholden to those unions. Whose job is it anyway?
Government has created a welfare system where we actually say there are jobs that “Americans don’t want to do”. It is easier and more lucrative for someone to sit at home and collect benefits than go out and do an actual job. This is America and regardless of the work, it is a means to take care of your own. Whose job is it anyway?
Now we’re on the verge of expanding those benefits at the expense of hard working people across the country. Everyone who is working will pay for those who won’t do whatever it takes to support themselves. Whose job is it anyway?
If we’re not getting the results we expect from our elected officials we can change them. Whose job is it anyway?
